![]() ![]() For those in doubt: DriveClub is not a particularly realistic game, nor is it meant to be. We’ll be testing the Thrustmaster T300 RS primarily with DriveClub on PS4, Gran Turismo 5/6 on PS3, and a few other racing titles on PC. Here, you should hit properties, which takes you to the main control panel which consists of three tabs, ‘Test Input’, ‘Test Forces’ and ‘Gain Settings’. After finding the control panel program through your Windows search tab – which falls under ‘Thrustmaster FFB Racing Wheel’ – you will be greeted with a small window called ‘Game Controllers’. ![]() I am so relieved. Now that you have all of the software required, you need to optimise your settings for ACC in the Thrustmaster Control Panel. After trying different setting and combinations of settings for hours, I got it back to normal. So I went back into ATS determined to fix my issue. I assume the game had to adjust to 144hz or gsync. It did not suffer from the same lag as it turned instantly but it did seem to have some usual fps jumps until it fixed itself. Prior to figuring it out, I also tested my wheel out in F12017 just to see if it was something up with the wheel. So issue solved for those that may run into the a similar situation. So I moved them to what appears to be 2.0 as they are not the blue ports. I don't recall which usb ports I had them installed in at first but I think I may have re-connected them to the usb3.0 ports. I reconnected one by one into a different usb. I am not sure if it was my steering wheel or my fast wireless charger. I got an error is usb over load for one of my connections. Just when 1.31 update is almost here and Oregon and ST around the corner later this year. To upgrade like I did and to have my favorite game react like that was going to be heartbreaking, lol. After spending my entire Sunday baffled, I did finally solved it around 9pm, lol. It in fact turned out to be the usb connection. Had I not figured it out before logging back in here, you would have solved it as well. I was watching it the whole time via dev console. I wouldn't think that my upgrades would have unpleasant results.įps was fine. There is enough lag in the wheel to cause a wreck and makes a very un-enjoyable experience in ATS/ETS2 now. It looks like I am trying to turn my wheel with the keyboard or gamepad. My wheel acted the same exact way in ETS2. I am wondering if SCS changed up the way they support steering wheels or something recently. I am not sure which version I had previously install and I know ATS runs on DX9 but I wonder if that has anything to do with my issue.ĭoes anyone have the same or very similar setup and resolved this issue. One additional thing I did was install DX11. This lag translates to actual driving in the game in the same laggy manner. In game if I go into the control commands and I look at the steering x axis, I can literally watch the lag in the wheel. It's only the wheel in the game that is choppy. ![]() The main 3 that I would assume could be the culprit makes no difference on settings. It also made no difference what the refresh rates where nor hdr. I figure the issue could be refresh rate conflicting with something but it made no difference whether gsync was on or off. I wonder if something got pushed out to the 1.30 as well. I know SCS pushed out 1.31 open beta Friday 13th but I don't participate in betas as I never opted in. I even left it at 60hz and no improvement. When I dropped the in game refresh rate back to 60 and back up to 120 or 144, it seem to have worked but several minutes later, it went right back to lag. I maxed out all my settings to start and the first day I got everything installed, everything was great. Every since my upgrade, I get lag with my in game steering when I turn the wheel. I just upgraded my gpu to a gtx 1080 and a new dell 144hz 1440 res monitor with gsync. ![]()
